Sizzlen Summer 2013

July

Crockett Adventures-  At the beginning of the month my sister, Brittney, and her kids came to visit for the weekend. We all went over to the Heyburn Park to play some volleyball with the volleyball kit I got for my birthday.  When we got over there we found out the park was flooded, but we didn't let that stop us.  So we played water volleyball while the kids played in the water and playground. It was so much fun.  We also went down to Pocatello for Independence day and spent it with Josh's family.  We went to lunch with my friend Tiffany and her son.  Later that day we took family pictures and the boys did not do so good about taking pics.  It was a hassle just to get the pictures we got. That evening we went to Josh's grandparents house to visit with them.  David and Nicholya came over with their kids too and set off some small fireworks for the kids. At first my kids were scared but warmed up to them and slowly moved closer to the fireworks.  That night we went to Josh's uncles house to watch the city fireworks with a bunch of his relatives.  This is a tradition their entire family does, but this was the first year we've been able to go because Josh has always had to work on Independence day.  The fireworks didn't start till 11:15pm because it was so windy.  People were leaving and we were even starting to leave when they finally set them off.  Parker missed them because he had fallen asleep, but my night owl Brayden was very excited and verbal about them. After the fireworks were over we left straight for home, because Josh had to work the next day.  We got home about 1:30am.  The next day tho we went to my cousins house and set off some big fireworks with my family.  The boys were scared at first but as long as we held them, they were ok.  My brother, Brandon, and his family came up from New Mexico to visit for a week and to celebrate Zulay's, my niece, birthday with everyone. My sister, Brit, and family came down from  Boise as well.  So we had the whole gang here.  It was a blast and I loved it. We did so much stuff together and so much fun.  I didn't want it to end. Those are the best kind of memories I love.

Josh- Josh's school work picked up and was busy with school all the time.  His English class was the hardest and helped him with it quit a bit. He got done with school at the end of the month finishing with all B's for this semester.  He is a trooper and is glad he is done.  Now we can start having family summer fun more.  He found out at the end of the month that there was a Bailiff Job position available and decided to apply.  This way he can get patrol certified, work 730am-530pm everyday, have all weekends and holiday's off, and will be able to go to night school.  He will get a tiny pay cut, but he can only do so much of his schooling online for his degree.  So this will allow him to continue with his school and have a set schedule too!  We cant have everything we want, there always has to be some type a sacrifice.

Pregnancy and I-  At the beginning of the month my morning sickness started to kick in more and slowly to were I was sick all day long.  If I ate it made it worse and if I didn't eat it made it worse.  So I'm in a lose, lose situation. It suck because it made it impossible to walk my boys to the park everyday like I use to and I didn't do it all month. Some days  I would have my sister come and get the boys and take them out to my grandparents place to watch them, because I was so sick I could hardly move, which was like almost every other day it seems.  This way they could at least play outside. On the days I was feeling ok I would take the boys to the park, but drove them there because I knew I wouldn't make it walking them.  Other than that they didn't get to go outside, which made me sad and hard on me too.  They would want me to play with them and I couldn't, also them playing so much in the house made the house messier and I couldn't even get up to clean the house. I felt horrible all around.  Some days I was barely able to make them meals.  It was horrible when my family was down and I couldn't participate in some activities, but I enjoyed what ever I could get with my family.  Of course that meant that some of my siblings found out about the pregnancy, because I was so sick.  I was so happy when Josh got done with school so he could help me.  He has been so good about helping me once he was done with school.

The boys-  The boys are still the same amazing boys.  Brayden's potty training has become amazing.  Most of the month he has not had any pee accidents and even at night.  He tells us when he has to go potty every time were out about town now.  The trick with him was letting him go pee standing up.  Once he got the hang of it, it was like an instant thing for him.  He even goes to the bathroom without telling us when were at home. He opens the door, turns on the light, shuts the door, lifts up the seat, does his business, puts down the seat, flushes the toilet, opens the door, turns off the light, and closes the door all on his own without us having to tell him to do so now.  The only part we have to help him with, when he gets done, is washing his hands and its because he can't reach it all on his own.  We had to go to giving him chocolates to help him start potty training, but now he doesn't even ask for chocolate hardly anymore.  We started not giving him any unless he asked for one once he went potty, but we always cheer for him every time.  We do have to still work on him going poo tho in the potty.  I think the fact its so hard for him to poo in the first place makes it harder.  It very painful for him and I'm going to have to talk to the doc about it again with him, because nothing is really helping make it better for him.  I've started taking the boys to the Paul water park and they love it.  Before I started taking them there Parker wouldn't have anything to do with sprinklers or water toys like that.  Now he loves it and plays in them all the time.  Parker loves to catch the water in his mouth and drink it.  The boys loved having their cousins down for a week and staying with us. Parker and Zulay were always together.  In the mornings Zulay would grab her blanket, and they would go sit on the couch watching the Disney channel, while snuggling up together in Zulay's blanket. They were always giving each other hugs and kisses.  Brayden just loved having other kids around to play with him.  When ever someone ask me about my kids and how old they are, I always get a reaction when it comes to Parker.
I would say "Parker is not quit two yet."
They would say " really he's not two?  Wow He's a big kid.  That's going to be your football player"
If they picked him up they always comment on how thick and solid he is.  He's not fat just husky!  Even the doctors and our chiropractor always says it too every time we see them and say how strong he is too lol.

Crockett Adventures- This month did not start out that great!  I had just checked on Parker in his room and right as I got to the living room I heard a big crash from back in his room! I ran back there and found Parker under his dresser.  The dresser had fallen on top of him.  I could only guess that he was climbing up the dresser.  He had a gash on his head and his right hand was blue and swollen!!  It
Parkers beat up face
took everything in me not to freak out, but I still couldn't help but cry a little.  I hurried and got him out.  The blood was running down into his eye, so I got a rag to help stop the bleeding.  He wouldn't let me do anything.  I could barely touch him enough to get the blood from getting into his eye.  I called Josh at work to let him know that my sister was going to come get me to take him to the hospital, but Josh left work right away and took us in and Desi stayed home with Brayden.  It was a nightmare trying to get Parker to let the doctor clean his head so they could see if he needed stitches.  They had to pretty much hog tie him down to clean it up.  Fortunately he didn't need stitches, it was a big cut but just not deep enough to need them.   They had us stay a while to see if his hand needed x-rays.  The fact he would use his hand every now and then they didn't think he needed any. That night Parker was waking up every three hours crying and saying "ouch", whenever he would roll on his hand. That next day I had Brayden go stay at grandmas overnight while I stayed home with Parker, because Parker would try to play around with Brayden and just keep hurting himself more. After about 5 days later we took him into the Chiropractor to make sure nothing needed adjusted.  The chiropractor checked everything and his neck was really bad.  He said "it was so bad he was lucky he didn't have a serious neck injury!"  He check his wrist out too, because the swelling still wasn't going down.  It was because his ligaments were swollen and were needing to heal, but the fact Parker would still use his wrist wasn't giving them time to heal.  He ended doing a laser therapy on his wrist to help it heal faster and we came back every couple of days for him to treat his wrist.  In the end it healed really quickly! I love our chiropractor, he knows so much and is so good!!  I was so grateful right then for my husband and his hard work in getting the job he has.  Without his job we wouldn't of had the amazing insurance we have, which covers most of the hospital bill and covers all chiropractor bills and not have to pay a penny out of our pocket!!  We were able to at least attend the fair one day as a family, but it was in the middle of the day and it was 100 degrees so we didn't stay very long! Josh ended up doing security at the fair when he wasn't at work, so that's why we only got one opportunity to go.  My sister's did take me to the fair one night and the boys to the fair another night!

Our little one at 12 weeks
The rest of the month seemed to go by a lot better!  Josh didn't have school all month, so we were able to have some family time!  It was so nice to get to spend some quality time with Josh and the boys loved it.  Once we were able to get our ultrasound, we also made our announcement to our family and friends, we were going to be expecting again in Feb.  We got to go to the fair with the boys, they love seeing all the animals.  It was super hot tho (100 degrees that day), so we didn't stay for long. Josh actually did security at the fair during the evenings/ nights. We also were able to have Josh's parents stay with us for two days, which was awesome!  They boys loved it so much that they cried when they left.  We went to the water park often for the boys to play.

Parker got into my mascara!!

Brayden at Parker's Birthday party
The Birthday Boy
The boys-  Parker turned two this month, and boy is he getting big so fast!  We celebrated his birthday at the water park with family and friends, since he loves that place.  Unfortunately it was rainy, but it didn't stop us.  They had pavilions there that we were able to use and stay out of the rain, until the very end when we were finishing up and the wind picked up.  The boys haven't really changed much.  Their still a handful in their own way.   Parker loves climbing and getting into things, while Brayden is bossy and annoys his brother from time to time.  They both like to help mommy from time to time, mainly with the dishes and laundry.

Baby and me-  Well this month seemed a little better then the last month. I was able to get up and take care of the boys some what properly, with laying down all the time. Josh not having school this month helped a lot. One day I felt so good I was able to walk the boys to the park, but it didn't last long. by time we got home I was feeling horrible again.  I was grateful for the fact at least I could take care of them some what.  I still wasn't able to eat much without getting sick.

The beginning of Summer 2013 (June)

June

 Crockett Adventures
Now that we've been moved into our new home the boys and I had started a routine.  We get ready for the day and at 11am we walk to the park (well I walk and push them in the stroller), which is a half mile away.  They don't have any grass planted around us yet because they are planning on building more apartments next to us.  Also, this way I can get somewhat of an exercise and the boys can get out of the apartment. They love going to the Park. Josh has started summer school and is staying way ahead of his assignment so far.  He is taking a math and his last English class (which is the hardest class for him right now).  Josh and I hang out with Candi and David Wells and family often.  We have double dates with them and my sister Mickela has become our babysitter.  They come over at least once a week, have dinner with us, and watch a movie or play some games.  We started going swimming at the local pool with the boys.  I wanted to start them in swim lessons but they have to be able to stand in 3ft of water without help or any problems.  Parker can barley stand in 3ft but cant walk around without help :/. For my Birthday we went to Derky's lake and hung out with my family, then later that night had dinner with family and friends.  I love swimming in lakes.  For some reason I have a hard time adjusting to cold pool water, but I have not problem swimming in cold lakes!  I also started teaching my little brother how to dive.  We were excited to have Josh's family (Allison, Alex, Xavier, Mom and Dad) visit us a couple of times in our new home. My Brother finally married my new sister-in-law, Jenny, this month and I'm so happy for them.  On the 22nd I took a pregnancy test, because I was a week late.  It came back positive, I was pregnant too.  My hubby has been wanting me to have another baby and so have other family and friends.  I didn't want to have all my kids really spaced out. I wanted them about 2 yrs apart.  This way we wont be so old when the kids grow up or I wont have a chance of having problems with being older and pregnant at the same time (as it seems to happen in my family).  We decided we would try this year just to stick to the plan, but I couldn't decide if I was ready to handle another baby as much as I wanted another one.  I mean my boys are a handful.  My sisters even go crazy when trying to deal with them by themselves mainly because they're such busy bodies lol.  So I compromised with my hubby I told him I would give him 2 months out of this whole year to see if  I would get pregnant.  We wouldn't try but we wouldn't not try at the same time. If it was meant to be it would happen, if not  then we would wait till next year.  As you can see it happened and I will be due March 1, 2014 (I figured anyways).  We decided we wouldn't tell anyone until we seen the doctor tho, which is for Aug 1st.  It was really hard to hold our tongues too, but we did.  Also we didn't know how some of our family would take our news of us having another kid already.  I know people these days are like you need space your kids and not have so much.  It just the way it is in society now.  We didn't want the negative when we had just found out and were happy about it.  We wanted time to enjoy the moment without the negative thoughts or words from others right now.  To give us time to build a wall so when were heard the negativity it would just bounce right off us and not bother us.  Josh and I were able to go on a date by ourselves to twin where we did go karts, mini golf, pool, and eat pizza. It was all free too, because it was an event for all law enforcement.

The Boys

Brayden and Parker are two opposite little boys.  They had a hard time getting use to each other in our new home.  They don't have as much space as they did when we lived with my grandparents out in the country area.  They fought a lot because they didn't know how to handle the other in their space.  Brayden does like having his own room now.  He shows it really bad.  He acts like he owns it and will tell you to get out. When he is mad, sad, or just wants to play alone he'll go to his room and shut the door.  Parker started sleeping in his own bed all the time now.  Only when he wake up in the night crying, because he's scared does he come sleep with us.  He is still on the bottle.  I don't know how to get him off.  He only wants it when its time to sleep at night and naps, or when he wants to cuddle.  Parker seems to get into everything even more now, because he doesn't have a lot of room to explore or roam.  Its like he gets so bored really easy and that's why he likes going to the Park the most.  Brayden will have days where he just wants to be lazy and do nothing/ go anywhere.  Now that it is starting to get hotter I decided, that besides Sundays, we would take a break in the middle of the week from the Park.  Parke seems to know that we need leave and is coming to me and saying "Go".  Now that we go to the Park Brayden and Parker have gotten to swing and go down slides more.  They were both terrified of swinging and a little scared of going down the slide. After about a week of going to the park Brayden loved to swing so much that I have to do an under doggie to get him high enough, but Parker still is scared and has to have me hold him and swing together.  They both love to slide.  Parker loves it so much he'll slide head first and on his belly.  Brayden will slide down on his belly sometimes too.  Parker is my wonder/ explorer.  He likes to wonder around the park, climb on top/ up of everything and as high as he can go.  He even walks around the tennis court area just to wonder.  Brayden is my calm kid.  He stays by mom and plays.  Whenever he sees Parker wondering off, he'll say " Mom, Parker going away, get him"!  Parker cant get away with anything while having Brayden as an older brother.  Brayden is always telling to me to have Parker go to bed when Parker has done something bad, and saying "Parker's trouble" lol!  They both love taking baths so much sometimes they take them up to three times a day, but always a least once a day.  They also love going swimming.  Parker use to hate even getting near a swimming pool he would scream bloody murder, but now his is the exact opposite.  He wants to go on his own even in the big pools, trying to swim like everyone else.  He hate being restricted.  Brayden has always loved swimming since he was a tiny baby.   When the boys get bored they like to use me as a playground and climb all over me.  We also started going to a new ward and I was afraid how the boys would handle being without me.  They've always been with me since the day they were born because I was the nursery leader and this was the first time without me.  The first Sunday was good they had no problem what so ever.  Then the second Sunday came and Parker didn't want me to leave.  I've learned that once he starts playing with the toys I need to leave as quick as possible.  If he saw me at all he would start crying and want his mom, but as long as he didn't he never cries.  Brayden on the other hand is the opposite.  I cant get him to leave church.  When its time to go I have to drag him all the way out to the truck.  He'll hang onto the doors, sides of the walls, and anything he can grip to keep from leaving.  Its hard on the Sundays when I'm by myself, because Parker is trying to run away to go to the truck and Brayden doesn't want to leave. I end up having to take Parker to the truck and then go get Brayden, but only once in a while.  We've had to get use to trains coming through, because we live right next to the train tracks.  Whenever the boys hear a train they have to go to the window and watch it till its gone.  I have my first instance of Brayden using permanent marker all over the bathroom door and wall for the first time.  Ya I was not happy. Both my boys love to help me clean around the house.  They both like to help load the dryer, washing machine, dish washer, help me sweep (they usually will hold the dust pan for me), and help vacuum.  Its too bad I can't get them to do the laundry too, but instead make a bigger mess of the laundry when I try to do it. Brayden is good about throwing away things in the garbage and putting dirty dishes in the sink all on his own.  I never force them to help with cleaning the rest of the house, I simple ask them if they will help.  Every time they want to help and I praise them every time they do help. When it comes to cleaning their room Brayden is the biggest helper.  Parker will hand me things for a little while, but then gets uninterested and wont help.  Sometimes they don't finish, because they totally refuse to clean the little bit that's left.  I try not to force them too much, because I know if you push to hard then they will totally stop cleaning all together. I thank them for what they do clean, and tell them they did a good job.  Most of the time Brayden will finish cleaning the rest.  We started working on Brayden's potty training a lot more now that we have our own place and can let him go without a diaper to help him.  He is starting to get better about peeing in the potty but still not pooping.  Parker is the biggest mommy's boy there is out there.  He loves to snuggle and give loves. Brayden is very thoughtful of his little brother.   Whenever  he gets a candy or anything.  He always asks where's one for Parker. Brayden doesn't like to give kisses on the lips and will only give you a kiss on the cheek.  If you try to give a kiss on the lips, he'll turn your head and give you a kiss on the cheek lol.  Parker is getting big, as Brayden says "Parker is bigger than me"!  He isn't quite bigger than Brayden.  They weight about the same Brayden only weights 2 lbs more than Parker, but Brayden is about 4in taller than Parker.  Parker is tall, very bulky and sold. As everyone says he's going to be a big kid. Where as Brayden is tall and skinny. We love our boys so much and wouldn't have them any other way.

The start of a new adventure, Spring 2013

March 2013-May 2013

This spring has been very eventful for our family.  In March we were able to go down for Practor's birthday party and spend some fun time with family in Pocatello. I missed one of my best friends baby shower for her first baby due to a blizzard we were still getting in March (go figure). My friend had her little girl on the 18th, Sadie. I was luck enough to be able to be at the hospital when my sister Allison had her first baby!! I didn't think I was going to be able to be there since she went into labor the evening before, but since she still had her baby yet that next morning.  Thanks to my sister Desi for watching my boys, I was able to drive down to Pocatello that morning and witnessed her little miracle that afternoon on the 25th .  So I received a new little nephew Xavier!  We also able to finally go meet little Sadie too!  That was a blessed month of new babies coming into our lives!  Josh's schooling was getting harder, especially in Math and English, and wasn't doing so good at the time.  So I stepped in and became his tutor.  Everything started to become stressful for all of us.  Besides, me having to take care of the boys and house, I now had to go over Josh's homework before hand so I could explain it to him/ teach him.  So It was like I was a single parent going to school full time as well.  It was hard, but I was glad to help my husband achieve his dream.  I was very glad that I had gone to college for a couple of years before hand, so I could help him.  I was really surprised I still remembered how to do all the math too.  We got through it together and in the end we were stronger. For Josh's spring break we were able to have a couples get away for a weekend.  My sister's watched our boys while we went and some time alone.  We haven't done anything like that since we first had Brayden.  I was always to worried to leave my boy(s).  We needed this time alone together and it was a lot of fun.  Josh got to go meet his new nephew for the first time and we surprised his parents too. We decided to get a liter of pop, box of popcorn, candy, a movie and pizza from pizza hut, then we left it on their front door steps, knocked and ran away just like little kids lol!  We spent St. Patrick's day and Easter with my family and were able to have my sisters, nieces, and nephews down to visit both holidays.  I love family time its so fun and Josh was lucky enough not to have to work either. Josh was able to take Brayden fishing for the first time too and Brayden loved it.  After that he asked to go fishing everyday.

April was just as busy it seemed right at first.  We celebrated Brayden's birthday with all my family and some good friends of ours.  Brayden got to go fishing for his birthday too and got his own fishing pole for his birthday!  Later that week (on the weekend) we went to Pocatello and celebrated Brayden's birthday with all of Josh's family and friends at Kiwi Loco (thanks to Chelsie and Doug for the idea and coupons).  Right after that weekend we headed to Idaho Falls were we spent another week in a hotel, while Josh went to some training there.  The boys had never traveled that much before and for that long.  When we first arrived at the hotel Brayden said "no, go home". It made my heart ache, but after he found out there was a swimming pool he was all good.  Parker did not like swimming at all. You would get close to the pool and he would start crying.  I decided that I was going to take him in anyways and show him how its not scary, since Josh was at training all day I had to do it all by myself.  I was a little scared I wouldn't be able to handle both boys while swimming, but I did it.  It worked out great too.  Parker even started liking to swim and would play around with Brayden in the pool.  Both boys liked to swim so much that is all they wanted to do once they woke up in the morning.  I also had a little experience while we were there.  Josh would ride with a co-worker to training leaving me with the truck in case I needed it. Well I decided to go to the mall with the boys and pushed them around in the stroller.  The mall had a little play area for the kids and so I let the boys go there to play.  Brayden met a new friend too.  The little boy wanted Brayden to come to his house and play.  It was so nice and cute seeing Brayden playing with other kids.  There is no kids in our area his age so he hardly gets the chance to play with other kids his age.  Once they got done playing we started to head back out to the truck to go get some lunch.  There was hardly anyone at the mall too.  As I was pushing the boys one of the big back tires of the stroller popped really loud and it was so loud it hurt my ears.  There was no one around/ near us at all so I didn't think anything of it.  Next thing I know there were cops coming in with guns drawn and started searching the place.  I was wondering what was going on.  As I walked by a couple of cops they were talking about it and how they said there was a loud bang like a bomb or gun shot.  I was so embarrassed.  I couldn't believe they were here because of my tire blow.  I turned to them and said I think it could of been my tire.  They looked at it and back at me and said "no I don't think so because this was really loud."  Well I wasn't going to stay around to be questioned or anything so I headed out and once I got outside there were more cop cars showing up!!  That's an experience I'll never forget.  Josh thought it was so funny he wanted to watch the news just in case it said something about it on there, thank heavens it didn't!!!  It was a nice family get away (sorta).  Josh's worked paid for the hotel and all the meals.  It was nice to have dinner every night with Josh's co-worker, Jenifer Lee, getting to know her.  I also got to spend some time with one of my other best friends Tristian.

May finally came around and that meant Josh was almost done with his spring semester of school.  He did really good.  He got one A and three B's. I was so proud of both our hard work on getting him through this semester.  Well we finally got some really good news. We would be able to move out into our own apartment.  We've been waiting and wanting this for so long, but every time we tried something happened and we weren't able to.  I think Heavenly Father knew we were meant to live in this apartment and that's why every other time fell through.  We were finally able to move into our new home on May 17th and about a week later had everything put away.  I didn't realize how much stuff we had till now.  I was afraid the boys would not handle the move very well, but they did all right.  The first night Brayden said he wanted to go home and we had to explain to him that this was our new home. He didn't like it and told us no, but after that first night he was good.  I think both boys are enjoying having a room to themselves.  They both have grown up since this move. Parker is actually going to bed on his own and without a bottle.  Brayden goes to his room whenever he's tired and goes to bed on his own.  They seem so much mature now.  Brayden will stay in his room and play most of the time.  They are good about playing together, but just like most kids they will fight over a toy every now and then.  We are still having problems with potty training Brayden.  He just wont go to the bathroom, even when we ask him he tells us no.  I don't wan to force it on him, because I was told that would make it worse.  Parker has been wanting to sit on the potty every now and then, so I let him. It seems every time Parker wants to sit on the potty then Brayden will too.  So maybe if I get Parker potty trained so will Brayden.  We went to our new ward.  Parker and Brayden seem so much bigger than the other kids their age lol, especially Parker.  I didn't know how the boys would be going to nursery without mommy.  I've been a nursery leader ever since they were born. So I've always been with them.  They did awesome.  Parker didn't even notice or cared I left, but Brayden was a little shy and kept hold of me for a little bit until they got him doing stuff.  Josh and I have been able to have more time together and time as a family since he's out of school for the rest of the month. We've also been able to spend sometime with our friends Candi and David Wells, love them. The boys and I have started a new routine too.  We get up in the morning eat, get ready for the day, and clean the house before 11am.  Then I get them in their stroller and I walk them to the park which is a half mile away.  The Heyburn city park has a program were they feed all the kids healthy lunches and its free for the kids.  Now my kids can have time outside and play with other kids while I get my exercise and get some tanning done lol.  We're loving this new adventure of ours and hoping for the best in the future.

Starting off with a bang of an New Year

  Jan-Feb 2013

Our year started with all of us being sick with the stomach flu, yeah for us lol!  January was the hardest month of all our years together.  It really tested us in so many ways.  Due to the fraud we were not able to pay certain bills, because all our money from his checks were going to the bank.  The banked worked with us tho.  They allowed us to have $400 from each check.  It was hard to decide which bills to pay and which ones to make a late payment next month (with the chances of them being canceled).  We knew for most that the kids were first.  We made sure they had all the diapers, food and things they needed.  Some days all we had to eat was cereal and peanut butter sandwiches.  This and helping my grandparents our financially also put a big hold on moving into our own house.  I guess heavenly father knew this was going to happen and that's why we never got any of the houses in December. I can't imagine the state we would of been in if we were had just got a house and this happened too.  It was hard, but I guess this trial was made to help us budget better and reminded us things to be more grateful for in life.  There are so many others out in the world and our own country that go without even less than we did.  I just so grateful for our family and the love we have for each other.  I'm also grateful for my husbands and his job.  He worked extra hours in hope to help us out of this situation.  On top of it He started school the third week of January.  He is amazing and I'm so grateful to have such an amazing man in my life.  I know there were nights/days he was so exhausted and I just wish I was more of a help for him.  We talked about me going back to work and I applied for some jobs, but there is just no jobs for what I could work with us only having one vehicle.  We were hoping that we would get his school money to help us out, but CSI doesn't give out the extra money till the week after school starts.  So we didn't receive his school money till the last day of the month.  We only received half of it too and they said we wouldn't receive the rest of it till the end of March.  I really don't understand why they do that, but I guess they have their reasons.  It still helped we were able to pay up on all our bills and more.  The cloud of smoked had cleared and we could breath fresh air again.
Our bad luck didn't stop tho, around the middle of the month I got really sick with everything you could think of.  I was so not happy because I got sick a couple of days right before most of my siblings, nieces, and nephews were going to be down that weekend.  When were all together we never sleep. We're all up playing game, watching movies and just having fun all day and night.  I how ever couldn't join them the entire time.  I tried to stay clear so I wouldn't get any of them sick, but I was able to play a couple of game here and there.  We'll I didn't get any of them sick, but I did get my kids and hubby sick.  We came to find out that this virus we all had was dangerous for little kids.  It acts like just a cold, but it never goes away.  There was a little girl that died from it in our area.  All of us had it for three weeks, except my hubby because he went into the Doctor once he started having signs for it.  There is no specific drug either for it, it is a guessing game to see which drug would work.  It was something new the doctors were seeing going around.
February started out a little better than January.  The only bad thing was the boys were still really sick.  My sister-in-law had her baby shower and I did the games for it.  I had a lot of fun, but wished we would of been able to stay up in Pocatello with family for Superbowl weekend.  I just ended up driving up that day with my sister Desi and after the shower drive right back home.  I didn't want to stay too long with my boys being sick.  Josh took off work to stay home with the boys, so I could go, which I was so grateful.  He does so much for me/us sometimes I wonder how he does it.  He is my superhero!!!   At times I look back and think "wow, I really don't show him how much I appreciate him and need to do better!"  The second week of February all of us were feeling all better again and haven't gotten sick again yet (crossing my fingers)!  Josh and I were able to go out on a double date with some friends.  We stayed in Twin Falls overnight and went shopping for some clothes for the boys and a little for us.  It was nice to get out and get away and leave the worries all behind for a little bit.  We didn't have much worrying anymore, all except Josh's school work.  Josh is doing really good with school, right now he has all A's and one B.  I'm glad that I can at least help take off some stress for him by helping him with his homework.  I mainly help him with math and English, but once in a while I'll help with art history.  I have started working out doing Insanity with my sisters.  I am determined to get some of this weight off by summer time, but hopefully I can do this for longer.  We also got to visit/spend time with my sisters, nieces and nephews again and this time for a lot long than normal, it was nice.
My little boys are getting so big so fast.  We have our routine every morning and if I try to do something different they are grouchy for some reason.  First thing in the morning they get up and want to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  They watch it till I have breakfast ready, then we eat.  After its baths and getting ready for the day.  As long as the mornings are in that order the day goes by peachy.  Brayden is my little boss.  He will tell Parker no, when he's getting into something he's not suppose to be into, and tell him to go to the corner.  If Parker doesn't do what he says Brayden will come tell me that Parker needs to go to the corner or bed.  He has become a clean freak.  He cant stand anything on his hands, face, toys, or clothes.  If anything get on them he'll come straight to me and tell me to was them.  He won't eat anything with his hands, because he doesn't like them dirty.  He'll ask/tell one of us to feed him.  Its sometimes a problem because I can't always feed him and most of the time he only wants me to do it.  I've been telling him no and to eat it himself, but he is just as stubborn as I am.   I sometime don't know what to do about it.  Even when Brayden has a runny nose he'll come to me and say he needs to blow his nose.  He's really good at blowing his noses and he doesn't stop till he has it all out lol.  He is very obedient kid.  He does what he is told and doesn't get into anything he knows he's not suppose to get into.  He still loves taking long baths/showers.  He still isn't potty trained.  I just cant get him to do it.  He just doesn't want to do it. I know if you force him he wont ever do it on his own.  So I guess I'm going to have to be patient and wait for him to come around.  He has gotten a little better about eating meats, but not much he'll eat every thing else. He wont drink milk at all unless its chocolate milk, but only once in a while.  He mainly will just drink juice or Kool Aid.   Brayden has gotten to were he likes giving hugs and kisses but only kisses on the cheek.  He has lately been really clingy to mommy.  He wants to be held a lot, carried up the stairs, and have mommy sit and watch a movie with him, but most of the time he's a daddy's boy.  That's why it has been so surprising to me that he wants me a lot. He loves to paint, read, wrestle around (as he says you want to fight lol and no he didn't get that from daddy, but my sisters!), and draw too.  He is 37 1/2" tall and weights 29lbs! He has a lot of movies and shows he likes, it just depends on what mood he is in depending on what he will want to watch.  His favorites of all time are "Cars", "Kung Fu Panda", "Happy Feet 2", "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse", "Little Einsteins", "Barnyard", and "Megamind"!  He still is my night owl, but I've gotten him to start going to be around 9:30ish in stead of 11pm, that is if he doesn't have a late or long nap.  He is good about taking medicine and brushing his teeth.  He still have a fixation on his same pillow and blanket, which is funny because his blanket is actually a blanket I got from his Aunt Allison for Christmas one year.   Parker is totally opposite of Brayden.  He is my cuddle gentle and crazy baby.  He gets into everything and climbs everything.  If you tell him no, he will still do it and it doesn't faze him one bit when he gets into trouble.  He thinks its funny and I don't know what to do with him.  He loves to give hugs and kisses.  He doesn't hit or mean unless he is rough housing with dad and brother.  He is a BIG mommy's boy.  He wants mommy for everything and only mommy can make things better.  He thinks jumping up and falling on his tummy or bum it funny.  He also thinks hitting his head on things is funny too.  This little guy is crazy and he gives me heart attacks everyday. Anything that seems/looks dangerous to do he tries to do it and thinks its funny!  He doesn't care for much TV.  He'll sit and watch a little, but after a little bit he's up getting into things.  He hides everything, if you cant find something its mostly he got a hold of it and put it in a cupboard somewhere throughout the house and behind everything.  After a couple of weeks tho he usually gets it out lol.  I've found everything you can think of shoes, toys, toothbrushes, canned goods, jars, clothes, dads wallet and etc in the cupboards throughout the house. He is obsessed with shoes, every morning right after he wakes up he runs and grabs his shoes wanting me to put them on.  If I take his clothes off he still has to have his shoes on. He is getting better with stay words and telling us what he wants, which I'm loving.  He still takes a bottle when going to sleep.  He doesn't really drink out of it, I think its mainly for his teeth.  He still is teething quit a bit.  He has 8 teeth total and the rest are coming in at once right now.  He hates brushing his teeth and taking medicine.  He's really good about eating his meals.  He does not like being fed at all.  He has to do it himself.  I am having a hard time getting him to use utensils.  The only time he'll use a spoon is when eating oatmeal or mash potatoes.  He really doesn't like drinking anything but water and milk (mainly milk).  He also hates pools.  We try to get him into the pool, but all he does is pick up his feet and scream until his is totally out of the room/area of the pool.  Funny thing is tho he loves baths and showers.  He is just a weird kid lol!  He is catching up to his brother in size tho.  He is 34" tall and 25lbs, he is starting to get a belly too lol!  Oh I love my boys!

December/Christmas

December/Christmas 2012

This month my hubby and I celebrated our 4yr anniversary!  It was difficult for us to get the opportunity to celebrate it too!  We had a wedding, sick kids, his job, his work trainings, and Christmas to work around.  We were able to work things out except being able to attend a wedding or celebrate our anniversary.  We decided to be less selfish lol and go to the wedding :)! Our wonderful luck striked again, our little Parker got really sick the night before the wedding, so we didn't go to the wedding.  I told my hubby to go, but he didn't want to go without me.  I eventually convinced him to go to he reception with our Brayden and I would stay home with little Parker!  He wasn't able to stay long unfortunately due to the weather and travel.  We started to try and get our own place, but we kept striking out every time.  Then we had a fraud issue at the end of the month and lost around $1000, we will never get that money back either.  We struggled all the way till the beginning of Feb before we were above water again.  Our luck was on the poor side this month of all months.  I was feeling really beat down and didn't think it could get any worse.  Later on that month I went visiting teaching, and I visit teach the most wonderful ladies.  Two of them were/are fighting cancer.  They are so optimistic and are the most up beat people even through all the horrible things they go through daily. They never let anything get them down and yet still find time to help other.  I know that I was meant to be there to visit teach them, but for me not them.  I went home thinking I have it so easy compared to them who am I to complain.  If they can keep going so can I.  They have been such an inspiration in my life.  I'm am grateful everyday for them and hope that I can be an amazing woman like them!
Josh was able to get a whole week off for Christmas using his vacation time, It was great and much needed time to get away.  We spent most of the vacation time in Pocatello with his parents and siblings.  It was the first time, ever since right after we got married, that we were able to spend Christmas with his family. We did  miss being able to spend time with my nieces and nephews that came down to Burley to spend it with my family.  As usual tho we drew names with my entire family.  We took our gifts from others with us to Pocatello and did a conference call with my family in Burley and New Mexico to guess who had each others names.  Brayden and Parker both got a 9v four wheeler, clothes, tons of trucks and toys, and movies.  Josh and I got a flat screen 42" TV for Christmas from Santa ;)!  Josh got a bunch of xbox games, movies, shirts, pants, and hunting stuff.  I got movies, the entire TV series of Stargate, different kinds of house decorations (from Allison, Chelsie, and Tiffany), dolphin pocket watch (from ginger), shirts, pants, jewelry, perfume, two different kinds of the game Clue (my favorite game in the world) and a blue tooth.  My sister's cursed my hubby for getting me the game Clue lol, because they knew they would have to play it with me lol!  We had a great time in Pocatello.  I also got to see and spend some time with my friends Ginger and Tiffany.  I also went to a girls night Christmas party with a bunch of friends.  It was so much fun and I hadn't act that stupid/silly in so long I almost forgot what it was like and I didn't come home till 1am lol!  I thanked my hubby so much for watching the kids and letting me have that time with my friends.  I was hoping to spend some time with my sister-in-laws and mother before I went to the party but we had to wait for my cousin to bring us our gifts to take with us.  So I wasn't able to because we left a lot later than I was planning.  We had a yummy Christmas brunch with Josh's family and opened gifts that morning with everyone.  Later that day we left for Burley and was able to eat Christmas dinner with my family.  Lets just say we were stuffed for a couple of days lol!
The day after Christmas it snowed a lot and it was one of those big snowflake no wind snow fall.  I love when it snows like that, because its not cold hardly at all and a lot more fun to play in.  So of course, Josh and I took the boys outside to play that day with their new 9v four wheelers and new snowsuits.  They loved it and we also had a snowball fight, of course everyone gained up on mommy for some reason.  The night before New Years eve my little Brayden got a 48 hour flu bug.  He was throwing up all night till morning and half of it was just dry heaving since he didn't have anything left in him.  The next day he still couldn't eat because he's stomach still was upset, but by the next day after that he was doing good.  But, the night of New Years eve Josh, Parker, and myself got what Brayden had and we were all up.  So I went 2 days with no sleep.  I was one very tired mommy and we weren't able to make it to the Crockett reunion because we were all sick!  We had a roller coaster ride for December, it was either really good or really bad, we had no in between lol!

The month of Thanks.....

Crockett Adventures-    This month my hubby and I got to go to the Boise Temple re-dedication.  It was the first one we have ever been to and the spirit was so overwhelming, its impossible to explain!  It really put into perspective what I need to be working on to become more like Christ! We also made a couple of visits to the hospital with my Parker Gene!  We got to see my older sister, Britt, and her kids for Britt's birthday and Thanksgiving!  I've missed them so much!  We haven't seen them since the beginning of this summer.  We had a lot of fun with them, even if it was only for two days.  They are growing so fast.  We were planning on going to Pocatello for Thanksgiving week, but poor Parker ended up sick so we stayed home with my family.  I was really bummed too, because I was really looking forward to shopping on black Friday with my best friend Tiffany, going to see the last/final Twilight movie with my sister Allison (which I still haven't seen) and of course seeing family.  We also celebrated my wonderful hubby's birthday.  Thank heavens for my sister, Desi, who helped me make dinner and cake for my hubby, since my kids were not in the greatest mood.  I'm so lucky to have him.  We also went to shopping on black Friday.  My mom watched the boys at home, while my hubby, my sisters (Desi and Keshia), and I went shopping Thursday night.  I did not like the fact that their starting Black Friday so early.  Its called Black Friday for a reason.  It was nice we were able to get half our Christmas shopping done, mainly all the boys and nephews gifts.  My mom's dog also had puppies for Thanksgiving and my kids wont leave them alone!  I've been busy making Christmas presents all month too!  We've been very blessed in our lives and with our little family!  I love all my family and extended family too!

Brayden

Adventures-  Well he hasn't had much going on this month.  He loved every minute with his cousins while they were done.  He followed Ty around everywhere.  When he woke up he would ask right away "where's Ty?"  He's become obsessed with the female puppy.  He even named her Baby Po (from Kung Fu Panda).  His most recent movie he watches all the time is "Kung Fu Panda".  He seemed to be more on the grouchy side and very whinny.  He is on and off about being nice with Parker.  He is nice at first, but if Parker doesn't respond nice back then he is mean and pushes him.  We have definitely been working on that, but I guess that's a 2yr old for ya.    He is very thoughtful tho and loves giving hugs.  He is a lot better about being nice to the dogs too, which he never means to.  He just didn't know how to be gentle when trying to hold or play with them.  He has become more dramatic in acting things out, which makes me think he'll be in the drama club lol!

Growth-  He is the same with all his learning stuff.  He's talking more clear everyday.  He is getting better at say everyone's name correctly. He is 37 in and 28 1/2 lbs.  He just got two of his 2yr molers in too, which explains why for almost a week he wouldn't eat anything.

Parker

Adventures- He as had not such a good month.  First he pushed over a big ceramic mold (about 50+ lbs) on his foot.  It was so bad he couldn't walk on it, so we took him to the hospital.  They took an x-ray and it wasn't broken, but bruised to the bone. It took a week before he could walk on it normal without limping or anything.  Then he was sick on Thanksgiving :( and we took him to the doc.  It was a virus that would of turned into strep throat.    He did have tons of fun with his all his aunts and cousins visiting.  He mainly wanted his Aunt Britt or Trelynn, mainly because they would always hold him 24/7!  He still likes to snuggle and be held all the time.  We now have seven shows he will sit and watch; "Megamind", "Cars", "Despicable Me", "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse", "A,B,C's", "Finding Nemo", and "Kung Fu Panda"!  Before all we could get him to watch was  "Megamind", "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse",and "A,B,C's"!  He now has a routine every morning.  The first thing he does in watch a movie for an hour, while I fix breakfast and such.  I think he does it to help himself wake up more and not be so grouchy.  I personally don't think its a good thing, but its awful all day if he doesn't have the one hour of TV in the morning.  He has a temper tho.  If Brayden gets in his space without his permission he gets mad at Brayden.  That's when Brayden is mean back to Parker.  He throws big fits tho, but I've learned just to ignore him and they don't last as long.  He's a hitter tho and does it all the time, but no matter how many times I put him in time out or bed, he still does it!  He is a total opposite of Brayden.  He gets into everything on purpose just to make a mess and doesn't listen at all!  He's really good about going to sleep on his own and in his own bed, unless he is sick and then he has to have mommy lay with him.

Growth-  He still takes a bottle for naps and bed time, but every once in a blue moon he'll fall asleep without one.   He is talking a lot more and saying a lot more words now.  He is learning so fast.  There are too many words to put them all on here.  He is 33 in and 22 lbs.  He still only has 6 teeth too.

...All Oooooctober's eve!!!!

Crockett's Adventures!!

Joshua and I-  This month has been totally opposite of last month, it's been very busy!  Josh has decided to be more pesty ( I guess you can call it)!  He has been constantly starting water, soapy or tickling fights!!  I know I was the one that always started them when we were first together, but he didn't like the messy fights (water, food, and etc) very much so I stopped starting them!! It's been a while since we've had any of those fights!  I think deep down inside he did like them and that's why he's starting them!!  Josh worked from the 1st of the month straight till the 10th of the month, so he could have all the time he wanted off for vacation and hunting!  He saved up his vacation time too!  We left Oct 11th and headed for Pocatello where we stayed for the rest of the month!!  I know its not far from where we live, but we got to spend it with his family and we don't get to see them very much.  We got to go the the Black and Blue bowl (highland vs Pocatello football), which is a big event for the schools!  I love going to the games in Pocatello, because besides being able to watch some football I also get to have their yummy ice cream!!  I love the ISU dome's ice cream!! We celebrated Allison's birthday a little early, so everyone could be there before they headed up hunting and  see grandpa and grandma Burrell before they head down to AZ for the winter.  We weren't able to stay that long, because we were heading up to stay with my friend (Tristian) for a few days in Idaho Falls.  Josh only stayed one night because the next day he was heading off hunting.  The boys and I stayed with Tristian for four days!  I was nice to be able to hang out her for that long, because I missed her so much and don't get to see her hardly at all!!!  We went to the singles ward with her on Sunday and it was different lol!  The boys were actually really good, maybe the fact that they had sacrament first and early in the morning, that my boys were to tired still to be rowdy!  The ward was great about it too.  All the ladies stole my kids in each meeting, so I had no kids to look after!  We got back to Pocatello on the 16th of Oct and we stayed at grandma and grandpa Crockett's house the rest of the time.  Josh and his dad got back from hunting on the 23rd.  I was so happy because I was missing my hubby very much.  That was the longest time we've been apart.  Josh got a Buck 4x4, and an Bull Elk 4x5 and his dad got a spike Buck lol.  They had fun tho, they were hunting with his cousin and friend/ co-worker Wells.  A couple of my friends, sister (Keshia) and I had a girls day out, while my hubby watched the kids.  We went to Olive Garden then to the Blackfoot Corn Maze!  It was so much fun, I loved it and wish we could do it more often!  We were able to have two family nights of fun and dinner with all of Josh's family.  It was nice being able to see each other that much.  Also us girls ( mom, Allison, Chelsie, Nicholeya and me) had a girls pamper night, while the boys were hunting!  We watched Sunday night football, gave ourselves manicures, painted our nails, facials, and ate a bunch of goodies!  It was the first time we've done anything like that all together and it was a blast. We also had a friends night out!  We went over to my friend Ginger's house and hung out/played games with friends.  We went with Chelsie and Practor trick or treating down in old town Pocatello and the mall for Halloween.  We visited Allison for a bit and later all of us met up at Mom and dad's house to take a Halloween pics of all the kids.  It was nice to celebrate Halloween with his family finally and who knows if we will be able to do that again anytime soon.  Halloween night we went over to my friend Tiffany's house to watch scary movies with friend, while grandpa and grandma watched the kids sleep.  All the other days we just hung out with Julie and Gene relaxing and having a great time.   My boys and I would go for walks to the park some afternoons when it was warm too!  I would let Brayden rid his bike and Parker walk while holding my hand all the way there. We left for home on Nov 1st, it was weird leaving because it almost seemed like we've moved back to Pocatello.

Brayden

Adventures-  He loved being in Pocatello.  He got to play with his cousin Jackson more then ever and he loved having some else to play with.  He even was wrestling with Jackson, which after a while Jackson wanted to stop lol.  Brayden can over do it sometimes, which explains why Parker doesn't like it either lol.  Every time cousin Practor was around Brayden would give him toys to play with and sit by him on the floor when watching a show.  When he saw Remington, he would go oh a baby and would just look/ watch him!  He loved playing with grandpa and grandma's dogs too!  He was always following and calling for them.  He still does even tho were home now. He loved playing with grandpa and grandma too.  He got to go to the Black and Blue bowl with mommy, daddy, grandpa, and aunt Allison.  He loves football!  He was so funny! He yelled loud and more then anyone there!  Always yelling "Go football", "get them", "go go", he even would boo too and Aunt Allison taught him to yell "defense"!  His eyes were wide open, arms in the air and watching the game the whole time!  He didn't want to play around just watch the game and eat some good food.  He was woody for Halloween and loved his costume.  When we first tired to put it on him, he screamed the entire time and tried pulling it off.  Then we put in Toy Story to watch after that he loved his costume!  He even would leave the hat on and say "Heehaw"!  When we went on walks to the park, Brayden was really good about staying by mom while riding his bike.  If he would get to far a head he would stop till we caught up and he never would try to go in the road.

Achievements-  He is about the same with his learning.  He is talking even better.  He potting training seem to be doing good some days and some days not so good.  There are some days he just wont go in the potty for me.  He has learned how to say everyone names now.  He didn't before because he didn't see his Crockett family enough for the name to stick before we would leave for home.  He calls Parker, Gene most of the time.  Every once in a while He'll call him Parker Gene, but never just Parker

Growth/Habits-   He is 28lbs and 36 1/2in tall!!!  He still is a picky eater and doesn't eat hardly any meat at all! He is becoming more of a vegetarian everyday and eats pretty healthy.  When we went to Pizza Pie Cafe, he didn't want any pizza just mom's salad!  If you tried to hid a piece of meat in with his food, he could still tell and spit it out.  He's getting better at sharing too.

Parker

Adventures-   He loved playing with the grandpa Crockett a lot.  Every morning once he woke up he would want grandpa to hold and snuggle all day!  He liked playing with the dogs too, actually its more like act like the dogs.  He would get on his hands and knees and lick up the water out of the dog dish.  We ended up having to keep the water and dog food back in the back room to keep him out of it.  He was into everything, but that's my Parker.  The more you told him no the more he did it.  Grandma ended up duck taping every cupboard and more things to keep him out of things lol!!  He like playing with Practor when he came over, but also like stealing his toys and pacifier!   He like playing with Jackson and Brayden.  He would chase after them trying to keep up with them just like most little brothers do.  He kept trying to play with baby Remington but wasn't able to of course lol!  He was really good about holding mommy's hand every time we went on walks to the Park, which was really surprising to me.  He was Buzz for Halloween.  I was surprised he didn't try to take off the hat part of his costume, but he didn't try at all.  He actually liked his costume and wanted to wear it all the time.  Brayden called him Buzz all day and not Parker Gene!  He was a little pill while trick or treating.  He kept wanting to walk by himself, but wouldn't hand on to anyone's hand.  We carried him most of the time, but when he got too wiggly we would put him down.  We would try to hang on to his hand, but every time we would he would go limb and not walk until we let go.  Then he would get up fast and try to run away.

Achievements-  He is starting to say some more words now.  He says baba, dada, mama, football, drink, and eat.  He climbs everything and can go down the stairs correctly on his belly, so he doesn't fall.  When he is poopy, he'll come to me, plug his nose and say stinky!

Growth/Habits-  He is 32in tall and 21lbs.  He likes to get into everything and be held all the time.  He is worse then his brother. He is scared of mask.  He eats all meats and mainly meats!

CROCKETT'S ADVENTURES

This month has been on the tame side, not too much happening!  At the beginning of the month we had the biggest storm of the year, so far!  It was so bad there were severe tornado warnings and it was scary.  It shook the house so bad, had hail, winds, and bad of everything.  I actually got scared that a tornado would touch down!  We also took my sister (Keshia) to Rexburg to start her second year of college.  It was fun, but I don't think the boys liked being in the car for that long, thank heavens for portable TVs.  We were sad to say good bye to Keshia, but we knew we would see her again.   We celebrated my mom's 52nd birthday!  My hubby and I started a fantasy football team together, its something just to be able to do something as a couple!  My Aguilar family started a fantasy football league and they have a trophy for the winner too!   We also decided to start doing the Insanity workout together too.  We both want to get back into shape.  We also decided to let Josh go back to school.  He wants to become a fish and game officer, so he needs to go and get his biology degree.  Its actually really good this way we can us the extra school grant money to pay off our debt too!  Desi, my sister, is living with us now and she has me watching "Ghost Adventures"!  Holy crap, those things freak me out and I have a hard time going to sleep right afterwards.  One night I scared myself when I moved under the blanket, out of the corner of my eye saw part of the blanket go up and thought the blanket was a ghost!!!!  My hubby has been a bit silly too.  We are starting to playing around and having fun, just like we use to when we were dating.  For example, we have water fights, chasing and running around having fun just like little kids lol.  Its good we're getting back to being a fun couple and it makes a difference too.  We celebrated my brother's, Matthew, 13th birthday.  My sisters and I went to our friend, Tiffany Page, baby shower too.  Other than that we've been just hanging out at home watching new release movies and having fun.

BRAYDEN

ADVENTURES-  He is just a funny kid.  When we go grocery shopping at "Smiths", he has to always grab a baby shopping cart (that is his exact height).  He's really good about it too.  He stays right with me and doesn't run into things.  When we're all done, he puts the cart right back and comes helps me push the big cart out to the car.  He doesn't even throw a fit when he has to put it up.  We stopped at the McDonald's up in Rexburg to eat.  He loved being able to play on the toys inside for the first time!  He would climb all the way up, but wouldn't go down the slides to get down.  He would yell down "help", but none of us could get up there.  This little girl, about 8yrs, finally put him on her lap and went down the slid with him.  I don't know why he wont go down slides anymore, because he would all the time when he was littler.  At every one's birthday parties he likes to blow out the candles for them.  He likes church a lot.  He knows that every week we have church, so when we go to leave he always ask "we go to church?"  When I cant get him to behave, all I have to do is say "OK no church", and then he says no and behaves!  He likes to boss Parker around, especially if Parker is getting into something when he's not suppose to be.  Its good in a way, it helps me out so I know when he is into something.  I hear every time " NO, don't" "NO No's" lol!

GROWTH-  He is 28lbs and 36 in.  When he went in for his check up his iron was low, which is probably, because he doesn't like to eat much meat.  So I have to get supplements to get it up!

ACHIEVEMENTS-  He knows all the A,B,C's and can count 1-10, but still working on recognizing the numbers.  He still is working on his shapes and colors.  He knows the colors red, black, pink, purple, blue, green and yellow. He knows the shape circle. He knows how to read the word eyes now along with all the other words.  He is able to sing, by memory, more songs and some even from the radio.

PARKER

ADVENTURES-  Parker has become my destroyer!  He is a lot more to handle then his older brother was at his age.  He thinks when he gets in trouble its funny, so I do not know how I'm going to handle this kid as he gets older.   He doesn't like to listen at all and when you say "don't", he makes more of an effort to do it.  He is my cuddle buddy tho, when dad cant be.  He loves to be held all the time.  If I could he would want me to hold him all day long.  He loves to play with mommy and daddy.  He doesn't care too much for older brother sometimes, because brother can get carried away and be a little rough when horse playing around!  He likes watching the A,B, C's video, just like Brayden, and gets so excited when a new letter comes up each time.  He doesn't watch TV too much, but will watch a very few shows.  He likes all his aunts to hold him and cuddle, he's lady's man! I finally buzzed his hair and he doesn't look like a baby anymore!  He likes to ride bikes and is always trying to escape outside.  He still is a early to bed and early to rise baby.  He takes one 2-3 hour naps, which is good because now both boys will take naps at the same time and give me some hours of peace lol.  He still loves to cuddle with stuff animals and real animals too. He loves to give kisses!  He mainly will only eat meat, but he will eat some bread and fruits.  He wont even eat mash potatoes and gravy without having a bit a meat with it.  He will mainly only drink milk too.  I try to give him juices and water.  He will drink a little, but later whines until he gets his milk.

GROWTH-  He is 30 1/2 in tall and 20lbs.  He still hasn't gotten any more teeth in yet.

ACHIEVEMENTS-  He folds his arms all on his own when saying prayer.  He is starting to say ball, bye bye, and poop lol.  He is getting pretty good with a spoon and fork while feeding himself.  He actually is getting to the point that he will only eat if he feeds himself, but he still loves making a mess all over the floor instead of of eating it.  He still likes to drink out of bottle, but at the same time will drink out of a sippy cup.

August Rush!!

CROCKETT'S ADVENTURES- Starting at the beginning of the month, we drove to Boise to see My sister Brittney and her kids, Tyler, Trelynn, and Andrew.  While we were there we also go to visit cousins, Maria, Dan, Penny, Laura (and her baby boy), Juanita (and her kids), Aliesha (and her kids), Aunt Elva and my friend Sueanna with her hubby.  It was fun, we got to go to Chuckarama, play games, and go out on a picnic.  We got to go over to cousins Maria, Dan and Penny for dinner one day and play too.  We just wish we had more time to do more thing with everyone.  We went to Burley's fair (its a must thing), ate delicious food and looked at all the animals.  We watched the parade and it was Josh's first parade in Burley, because he's always had to work. This month we celebrated Parker's first Birthday!  I could not think of a theme to do, because he likes everything and there is nothing he likes the most!  Brayden loved Mickey Mouse so his was easy to choose!  I ended up doing a teddy bear theme!  We had to blow our own balloons up because the whole town was out of helium.  We also had a Party for him down in Pocatello.  The whole town of Pocatello was out of helium too, we came to find out its a nation shortage of helium!  We all got to meet the new addition to the Crockett family, Remington.   We also found out that Aunt Allison is Pregnant with her first baby, so EXCITING!  We also went and saw a Pocatello high school football game at the ISU dome.

Brayden

ADVENTURES- In Boise, Brayden got to play with his cousins.  He loved hanging out with Tyler.  He got to play with cousin Penny and he loved it.  He didn't want to leave. We had to drag him out lol!  It was so funny watching them play together, they got along great!  He loved the Burley parade, but 3/4 of the way through it got bored.  At the fair he loved seeing all the animals.  His favorite was the sheep.  It was so funny whenever he wanted an animal to come to him.  He would squat, make a clicking noise and clap his hands lol!  He got to feed the goats too!  Brayden had to go to a dermatologist because he was has these patches of rashes on his face and legs.  He's had them all summer and we've tried everything to get them to go away.  He has to put on a steroid cream and special moisturizer.  His skin "barrier", that protects our skin from thing in the atmosphere and such, and is deteriorating.  this is suppose to help restore it.  At Parker's birthday party in Pocatello, Brayden got to play with his cousins Andrew and Jackson.  He had a lot of fun.  He doesn't get to play with kids is own age hardly because there is none his age around where we live in the country area.

HABITS-  He has started to be a very over seeing big brother.  Whenever Parker gets into the bathroom. Brayden will slowly get Parker out of the room, tell him don't, and shut the door!  When Parker gets into the food cupboards.  Brayden will pull him out enough to shut the cupboard doors and say "don't".  Then once Parker starts to leave Brayden will pick up everything on the floor and put it back in the cupboards.  Lets just say Parker doesn't like it one bit lol!  It hard sometimes, because Brayden sees mommy pulling Parker away from getting into things and does the same thing, but Brayden doesn't understand how to pull Parker away without pulling him down.  Brayden still takes 2-3 hour naps and is good about going to bed.  We've always had a hard time getting him to bed, because he would just throw fits and cry, even once he was in bed.  He usually cried himself to sleep, unless he was super tired then he would go to bed on his own.  He's really growing up fast.  He chases the dogs around on his bike, but we're trying to get him to stop.  I don't know why he thinks its funny.  He likes to go around spraying everything with the spray bottle of water, so it looks like we all have peed our pants.  He likes spraying us all in the butt!  When I can't get him to eat all I have to say is " I'm going to feed it to Parker" and he comes running over saying "don't" and eats!  He's getting better at sharing but still have some improvements and better with playing with Parker.  When  he's in trouble and we tell him to go to the corner, sometimes he will actually go there and stand all by himself!  Other then that he hardly throws any fits when in the corner and peacefully does his time unlike in the past!  He likes running around just his diaper.  He likes to act like a dog.  He will drink out of the bowl on the floor when the dogs do.  He crawls along the side of them.  When they lick things so does he and worse of them all, when they sniff each others butt so does he!  I don't know what to do with this kid.  He can be so weird.  In nursery his the clown of the bunch.  The other teachers just laugh at him all the time because he is very dramatic!

ACHIEVEMENTS-  He can sing and act out dances at the same time.  He actually knows the words to the songs too!  He counts using his figures up to three. He's been able to read a coupe of words and know what they say and mean like, smiling, hippopotamus, eyes, hi, kick, shoulders, and head.  He knows the color green now.  He knows the letters A-J, K, O, P, T, and U. He recognizes the numbers 2, 3, 5 and 8.  He can almost count to 10 but not yet. He peed in the potty for the first time, but only once.  He's getting to know what pee pee and pooh exactly is but doesn't care about going in the potty.  He is getting a lot better at saying words more clear.  He says "please" now, before when we tell him to say please he would get all mad, but now he is really good at saying it!  I think he's doing pretty good for being less then a month from being 2 1/2 years old!

GROWTH-  He weights 28lbs and is 35 1/4 in tall. Still has the same beach boy tan, hair and eyes!  He still has that rash thing on his face but not as much.  It now seems to come and go.  As long as I keep the medicine on it stays away.

LIKES-  He still likes everything like before.  He's starting to like eating hamburgers now as long as it has cheese lol.  He loves home made re fried beans with tortilla.  He loves tortillas! He's starting to be a less pickier eater.  He still has his moments when he doesn't feel like eating. When he actually watches TV he mainly will just watch learning shows that teach letters and reading words!

DISLIKES- He's starting to not like watching TV as much.  He would rather read than anything. He doesn't like all the flies.  He always say "get away"!  He doesn't like eating the peeling on grapes. He always spits the peeling out.

Parker

ADVENTURES-  He went to the fair and got to see lots of animals. When we got to the pigs, one pig was sticking his head out and letting them pet him.  Then he snorted and it scare Parker to death and he wouldn't go near it again.  After that he wouldn't pet any more animals until we got to the sheep! He actually fed one sheep.  This month Parker turned the BIG 1 year old!  He didn't  blow out his candle just looked at us like "uh what do you want me to do now", but his big brother was there to help him out.  He did great at eating his cake.  He didn't want to use his hands.  He picked at it a little with his fingers and then went at it with his mouth only!  His cake was red and when he got done he looked like a clown! He got two birthday parties one in Burley and one in Pocatello.  He loved hanging out with his cousin Practor, who is 6 months old, and tried to play with him.  He would even bring toys over to Practor to play.  When he saw his new cousin Remington, he just wanted to play with his feet non stop.  He liked the little babies.  He also tried to run around with the other kids and Brayden.
HABITS- He is getting better at not throwing fits and hitting Brayden.  He's able to keep up with Brayden more and play along better!  He gets out of the tub by himself when he's done taking a bath, which isn't very long.  He is starting to like reading more with Brayden.  He doesn't get into the cupboards as much, probably thanks to Brayden lol!   He is so funny and likes to cuddle a lot especially with pillows and teddy bears.  He loves to give hugs.  When he starts kissing he doesn't stop for a while lol.  He is wanting to be outside all the time.  He likes chasing the dogs around the house.  He loves Aunt Mickela and Daddy to hold him all the time.  When you try to put him down, he always lifts up his legs so you cant.  He likes just being involved in every ones business.  He still takes a bottle to sleep and I'm not sure when we'll get him to break the habit.  He just doesn't sleep through the night without one.  He likes to copy brother.  When Brayden sits on the potty and gets done, then Parker wants a turn too lol.  In the mornings He always wakes up before Brayden.  He'll get down, go over to Braydens bed, climb up in it, and try to wake big brother up.  Then he climbs down and waits for Brayden to follow him out to the toys.  Brayden being a great big brother will zombie like follow him out there.  Sometimes in the morning both boys will lay in bed talking and laughing at each other.

ACHIEVEMENTS-  He is starting to try and say words like that, cat, baba, and drink.  He points a lot at things.  He does patty cake, but hasn't gotten down the rolling part.  He is starting to like reading more with Brayden.  He can growl and make cow noises.  He will hold up his arms and growl like a tough guy.  He knows where his eyes and nose are at.  He waves hi and bye, claps along with songs, dances a lot more, and is starting to color.

GROWTH- He is 30 1/2 in tall and weights 19 lbs.  He still doesn't weigh much but he'll get there eventually. He has 6 teeth now.  The four front tops teeth and the two front top teeth, but I can see that he's starting to get some more in sometime soon.  He still has his strawberry blond hair and his eyes have gotten more green now!

Exploding into July 2012

Crockett Adventures-  This month, of course, we celebrated Independence day.  Josh had to work till 7pm, like always, so he was unable to attend the parade with us.  That nigh we went over to our cousins Justin and Hailey Mangum's house for a BBQ and fireworks.  We were able to see Aunt Susie, uncle Darin, Victor, and Allen ( who live in Washington). They had brought big awesome (maybe illegal lol) fireworks with them to show us.  Josh has been working a lot this month.  Yes, it is nice having the extra money to travel and have extra thing, but its hard at the same time.  His work has been short on officers and him being one of their best/favorites get called in a lot.  They seem to have him on call all the time, but the next two months he shouldn't be as much. I on the other hand seemed to have ripped tenants and ligaments in my ankle, which caused me to have to wear a boot brace for 6 weeks so far.  I hope it will be healed in the end,so I do not have to have surgery.  Josh and I have been able to go on two dates, which has been nice since we've not had a lot of time together.  I'm grateful to have my wonderful sisters, Desi and Keshia, who's been willing to take care of my boys when I need it.  They've helped a lot since I hurt my ankle.  We were able to go to spend a weekend with my dad ( grandpa Aguilar) and Flo (step mother) to celebrate Desi and grandpa's birthdays with the Aguilar family.  We were able to go to Pocatello, finally, to visit the Crockett family.  Thanks to my hubby's hard work, we were able to stay in a hotel the whole time.  That way we could kinda say "we had a vacation" lol!  Josh had to have is tooth pulled out, because it had totally broke off only leaving he rooks.  We also made a swimming pool in the back of our truck using a tarp lol.   Its really nice being able to do that , because its like swimming in a river, lake, or canal only smaller and cleaner lol.  That's how I always went swimming as a kid.  I like it better then pools, plus its free.  The kids are able to swim with us , which is safer in a way too.

Brayden

ADVENTURES-  Brayden went to the Independence Parade in Rupert.  Afterwards he went to square park to eat parade stand foods.  While we were there he met a little Mexican boy, who was about his age.  The little boy started speaking Spanish to him and Brayden was talking back.  They went back and forth like they understood each other.  Before we let he got to ride a Mobile trolley.  It went super fast, which kinda scared him but not enough to make him cry.  He's got to go swimming a few times.  It is very difficult to get him out of any pool.  He went spotting with grandpa Crockett, daddy, and godfather Aaron for a whole day.  At a church event, Brayden was playing with all the kids and a kid smashed Brayden's thumb in the church doors.  It turned black and eventually the nail totally fell off.

ACHIEVEMENTSHe's becoming better at pronouncing words and saying more words.  He is good about sitting on the potty, but still wont go potty in it.  He is obsessed with reading and will actually say words on the page.  He knows the colors blue, purple, and black.  He know the letters A, D, E, I and P.  He can sign "I love you" with his hands!  He knows most of his body parts!  He likes to say the prayer and tries to do it by himself.  He knows what and how to say Hippopotamus and Platypus.

HABITSHe is either playing with his toy trucks, reading books, riding his bike, outside in daddy's truck, or playing in the water.  He prefers cold more then hot.  He tries playing around with Parker, but gets a little rough sometimes.  He's a very picky eater.  If the food looks gross he wont eat it. He doesn't care to eat meat very much. If he wants a drink, he will spit out the food in his mouth and take a drink instead of just swallowing it.  He has a specific pillow and blanket he takes everywhere all day long with him.  He loves to sing and dance.  He has high pitch scream he does when things aren't going his way.  He likes to say "spank your butt" or " check your butt" a lot.  He's always running all over and tackling everyone.  He likes to act out pretend gun fights or fist fights.  He will even play dead lol!

PHYSIAL GROWTH-  Brayden is 2yrs old, He weights 27lbs and is 35in tall.  He has a beach boy tan, dirty blond hair, and hazel eyes (brown, yellow, gray, and green) with big long eyelashes.  He's my skinny mini and is going to be a heart breaker!

LIKES-   Favorite foods are mac and cheese, all fruits, white cheddar shells, and anything with cheese.   Favorite toys are all truck/automotive, books, soft pillows, and blankets, bikes and anything that plays music.  Favorite shows are Phineas and Ferb, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, old western shows, all dancing and music TV shows. Favorite movies are Megamind, and Cars.  Favorite color is red and blue.  He loves everything outdoors. He loves playing in dad's truck.  He likes his car seat, taking baths/ showers and brushing his teeth.

He doesn't like anyone playing with his trucks.  He doesn't like having to go to bed when people are over.  He doesn't like changing his diaper.

Parker

ADVENTURES-  He got to go to the Independence day parade as well and ride the town mobile trolley too!  He like the trolley a lot and didn't want to get off.   When we started watching fireworks, they scared him really bad.  We had to make sure he couldn't hear them what so ever, so we had to put plugs in his ears and sit in the truck.  As long as he couldn't hear them, he loved watching them through the window!  He got to stay at Grandpa and Grandma Aguilar's house, which he is still afraid of grandpa and cries every time.  When we went to Pocatello he got to go swimming and like before didn't like it too much, but after a few times going swimming started to warm up to it and splashing around.  There was two people he wanted to hold him all the time, Aunt Allison and Grandpa Burrell!

ACHIEVEMENTS- He started to walk all by himself with no help from anyone and with falling down very little.  He climbs up on top of everything, even more than his older brother.  He tries to walk up the stairs instead of crawling.  He can get off the couch all by himself without falling and hurting himself.  He likes to read books and points at everything.  He can wave come here with his hands and blows kisses!  He's getting good at handing you thing when asked to and doesn't cry.  He loves to colors on paper.  He started to dance to music too.

HABITS-  He likes to chase his older brother, Brayden, and laughs all the time.  He still takes a bottle for naps and to go to bed, but every once in a while he will fall asleep without it.  He eats anything and everything.  If Brayden doesn't like what I fix I know I can give it to Parker because he eats a lot and everything.  I know bad right but this way food doesn't get wasted right lol!  He loves to be held a lot still.  He has a bad temp tho,  if anyone makes him mad he flips out.  He doesn't put up with his older brother, sometimes he tries to attack Brayden.  Brayden is still much bigger so Parker really cant do any damage thank heavens.  I'm trying really hard to stop that habit.  He like to take baths but not for very long.  He is always getting into all the food cupboards and emptying them.  He doesn't like it when big brother tries to get him out of them and put up his mess lol!  He still is a shy baby and wont interact with strangers only stares, but he's gotten better.  Before if strangers talk to him he would cry but he doesn't do that anymore.  I think nursery has helped him a lot in the area.  He's good at taking medicine and likes to brush his teeth.  He likes to crawl up in bed with everyone and play on beds.  He does it a lot with grandma Gladys, mainly because she has a mirror and stuffed animals on her headboard.

LIKES- His favorite TV shows are "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" and "Phineas and Ferb".  The only movie he likes to watch is the A,B,C'S movie.  He likes playing with balls, cars, and anything squishy.  He likes all food and nothing seems to stand out as his favorite.  He loves music and dancing.  He loves the outdoors.  He like warm weather.
